A catch-all domain accepts mail to any address, regardless of whether the mailbox exists. We detect this by probing a known-fake address at the domain. If it accepts, we can’t confirm the specific address is real. This is an industry-wide SMTP limitation that no tool can overcome.

At minimum, before every major campaign. Email addresses decay at roughly 22% per year. People change jobs, abandon accounts, and switch providers. Monthly verification for active lists is the gold standard. Always verify before sending to addresses older than 90 days.
